Position Overview

As Manager, Communications Design, you'll be an integral part of creating smart, data-backed media plans that connect the dots between brand strategy, audience insights and patient activation. Reporting into the Director, Communications Design, you'll take strategic brand blueprints and turn them into action-using audience research, performance data, brand insights and agency leading planning tools, to identify the right channels and tactics that bring our communications ideas to life.

This is a highly collaborative role. You will partner closely with internal craft, strategy and analytics teams on the planning, execution and measurement of media plans, while acting as a main day-to-day client liaison with the Comms Design Director and CAM lead. As a people leader, you'll mentor junior team members-helping grow their skills and confidence in media planning fundamentals, building content and presenting to clients.

Responsibilities

    • Build a strong, teamwork-oriented working relationship with counterparts across craft teams

  • Client Partnership & Communication

    • Serve as a day-to-day client contact, clearly articulating plan updates, rationale for optimizations, and progress toward KPIs
    • Lead monthly budget issuance (ATBs) and billing; partner with the team to review billing, reconcile discrepancies, communicate plan changes, and update flowcharts for client review and approval.

    • Support Analytics and Craft teams in reviewing monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc reporting, and providing feedback before external presentations
    • Lead monthly competitive reporting with junior team members inclusive of pulling reports from competitive tools, data manipulation and visualization and analysis

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in an integrated planning role in media, publisher / vendor, or communications discipline
  • Proven experience owning cross-channel media planning across traditional and digital mediums (TV, CTV, Video, Digital, Audio, Social, Search and POC)
