Tm Leader, Metrology

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Team Leader in Metrology to join our team in Bloomfield, CT. The Team Leader, Metrology will lead Metrology/Calibration System activities to ensure that M&TE (Measuring & Test Equipment) are controlled and maintained in accordance with Industry Standards and Customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Leads the team to ensure high level of productivity and quality. Ensures that staff works as a team, communicates information and provides training on pertinent specifications and new procedures
• Works with Quality management to provide input on performance expectations, and overall performance of the team. Provides training opportunities and advises manager/ HR on employee issues in a timely way.
• Ensures that the metrology teams' productivity and quality standards are measured and meet expectations. Communicates information to applicable departments and stakeholders. Maintains and provides metrology team metrics provides supporting reports as needed.
• Develop procedures, work instructions, forms, calibration method sheets (C.M.P.), as required.
• Establish and enforce 6S requirements with department personnel. Follows safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Reports safety incidents to management.
• Maintain current calibration system software program and revision upgrades as required.
• Makes recommendations for continuous improvement to calibration system requirements.
• Provides a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contributes to positive teamwork environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Accomplishes related results as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Experience: Standards Lab Technician A

Education:

High School Diploma/GED
