GENERAL SUMMARY: Provides advanced knowledge of administrative and secretarial functions in support of the operations of the department and in conjunction with supervisor and other staff. Provides timekeeping functions for departmental staff to ensure accurate timecards. Prepares staff schedules according to the organizations staffing guidelines. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED 1 year of related experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Understanding of department services and terminology Previous healthcare experience with demonstrated knowledge of medical staff policies and procedures and medical staff terminology Experience in minute taking Familiarity with Kronos timekeeping system Additional Information Organization: Henry Ford Jackson Hospital Department: Surgical ICU Shift: Day Job Union Code: Not Applicable
