Inventory Control Intern (Part-Time)

An Inventory Control Intern at SET Environmental is responsible to:

• Create a parts and equipment inventory system via Excel
• Catalog parts and equipment into inventory system and update as needed
• Assist in developing and maintaining equipment lists and records as required under Process Safety Management (PSM) Mechanical Integrity element
• Optimize parts, equipment inventory, and supply chain processes
• Develop a preventative maintenance program to reduce equipment deterioration and early-stage failure and reactive maintenance
• Improve equipment efficiency and lifespan through the establishment of preventive diagnostic testing
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and cleanliness
• Help support inventory tracking with the facility's PSM preventive maintenance schedule
• Participate in facility walk-throughs to identify and verify PSM-covered equipment
• Miscellaneous requests as needed

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite
