Genesis10 is currently seeking a Infrastructure Engineer with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 24+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Engineer, operate, and support lab systems and platforms to ensure stability, uptime, and compliance Apply technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to support complex infrastructure needs Automate infrastructure support using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools Ensure security best practices and zero-trust principles across lab environments Design, configure, and maintain systems including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization Deploy and manage Microsoft Windows (Server 2019/2022, Windows 10/11) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8/9) Manage and configure Microsoft infrastructure technologies (Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, DNS, Desired State Configuration) Operate within VMware vSphere and NSX environment Utilize scripting tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, and Bash for automation Support hybrid and cloud infrastructure specifically Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform at the tenant level Work physically onsite as needed to perform tasks such as racking, stacking, and cabling equipment (must be able to lift 75+ lbs) Required Qualifications: 4+ years of technology infrastructure engineering and solutions experience, or equivalent through work, consulting, military service, or education Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure domains including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization Experience with both Microsoft and Linux operating systems Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Domain Services and related technologies Virtualization expertise with VMware vSphere Suite and NSX Strong scripting ability (Terraform, PowerShell, BASH) Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform Pay Range: $ 44 - 54 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
