Short Intro and About the Job

Our Finance CapEx team works with teams across the company to ensure Danone continues to grow. By joining our Finance team, you will anticipate and evaluate the financial impact of decisions and find the right way forward. We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, CapEx in Louisville, CO or White Plains, NY.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

    Aggregate/Compile Capex forecast from Plant analysts for a total NORAM Capex forecast on approved/in progress projects (work with engineering counterparts to maintain rolling forecast
  • Prepare month close slides for NORAM and Global close meeting
  • Create capital and expense budgets and manage spend based on company targets
  • Support the Senior Manager of Capital Processes as well as the Engineering Directors during the planning, execution and closing phases of projects
  • Support business units with large capital cases
  • Manage and coordinate with Project Analysts in reporting the budget follow up and managing/forecasting the Capex and expenses related with engineering projects
  • Coordinate between engineering and finance on forecast and reporting
  • Coordinate with the accounting fixed assets team to explain discrepancies in month end close process, along with aiding in the tracking of in-service schedules of capital assets
  • Complete magnitude reporting requirements related to capex and debt related to lease for full RF reporting cycles
  • Update and maintain Power BI reporting tool to provide forecast visibility to key stake holders
  • Work with procurement and cash team to update cash out phasing related to projects requiring contracts and provide timely updates and inputs related to cash landing for H1 and FY
  • Ad Hoc analysis as needed to support Engineering and Supply Chain Finance Teams

The base compensation range for this position is $85k-105k commensurate with experience. About You

  • You have a Bachelor of Science in Finance or Accounting
  • You have a strong analytical and project management skills
  • You have project engineering, plant or manufacturing experience
  • You are highly organized and able to track multiple projects at several sites
  • You are agile / comfortable in a fast-paced and highly flexible environment
  • You possess Excellent MS office and Excel skills
  • You have experience with Power BI
  • You have experience building P&Ls
  • You are able to work independently and at the same time work in a team environment
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You have a strong interest in the technical as well as the finance aspects of projects
