TITLE: Seasonal Assistant

LOCATION: Main Office

REPORTS TO: Vice President, Deposit Operations Officer

CLASSIFICATION: Seasonal, Non-Exempt

AVAILABILITY: Scheduled approximately 40 hours per week.

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.

SUMMARY:

The Seasonal Operations Associate assists the Deposit Operations department during the summer and when available during school breaks. They will assist the department with a variety of tasks critical to the smooth operations of the department. Assigned tasks may include monitoring reports, conducting account research, archiving documents, and processing payments. Experienced applicants may be trained to assist customers in the call center as needed. Applicants must be willing to perform all necessary job functions and uphold all customer confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Attention to detail. Ability to navigate and use system software as designed. Provides a good customer experience to both internal and external customers. Possesses knowledge of Deposit Operations reports and jobs to provide accurate and timely information. Communicates effectively using proper phone etiquette and bank terminology. Delivers all customer or employee requests on an accurate and timely basis. Produce researched documents accurately and timely. Stays productive during the shift, shows initiative to learn new jobs and ask questions to aid the department.

*Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. Must be be extremely organized and methodical.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, and outside bank personnel. Communicate Orally. Normal daily physical activities to include: walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to read reports and use computer. Occasionally will lift 20-30 pounds (files, cash drawer, etc.)
