Overview

Responsible for ensuring the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of SSU Operations, Technical, or Field Coordinator team. Supervise team of SSU Operations Analysts, Technical Support, or Field Coordinator team that support SBU, UW, and other users of various systems. Performs designated team duties. Designs, implements, and monitors internal process improvements geared towards improving customer service, efficiencies, team through-put and overall quality of output. Interact daily with SSU Management, IT, and SBU business partners. Assist with the development of monthly scorecard representing operational performance for management review. Directs all project and task responsibilities of the unit through direct and matrix reporting relationships. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement process improvements.
  • Manage and perform production support processes within the department.
  • Supervise daily activities of SSU Operations Analysts, Techncal Support, or Field Coordinators.
  • Monitor performance of direct reports and develop scorecard.
  • Interact with SBU and other clients to ensure understanding of production support business needs and priorities are met.
  • Coordinates workflow within and between internal departments and regional offices.
  • Monitors the results of corporate objective activities and performs objective activities to ensure team goals are met.
  • Assists in budget planning, preparation, execution, and monitoring process.
  • Actively monitors employee performance. Develops and executes employee development plans and initiates corrective action as required.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Requirements

  • Excellent PC automation knowledge & skills.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills along with proven problem-solving ability.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma with 5+ years of Insurance Related Business/technical/training experience or College Degree in related field with 2+ years of insurance related/technical/training experience.
  • Superior organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
