Coordinator

Job Overview

Responsible for the effective daily coordination and monitoring of Patient Transportation services activities through timely and accurate dispatch and management of customer transportation requests and efficient assignments of transport personnel;

Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma

Preferred:

• Customer service experience

Scheduling Requirements

• Shift working, Swing Shift 10a 6:30p & 3p 11:30p
• Days to work Monday Friday, every other weekend & every other holiday
• Full Time

Essential Functions:

• Customer Relations
• Resolves problems related to patient, visitor, staff or employee complaints;
• Resolves problems associated with Patient Transport Services; recommends and participates in the solution of ongoing problems or trends

Operation Excellence

• Acts as a positive role model; possesses integrity, focus, commitment, flexibility, diplomacy and a team spirit
• Is reliable and trustworthy,
• Demonstrates and promotes the culture, values, and management philosophy in conjunction with the resident facility,
• Proactive in the achievement of the departmental goals and objectives

• Exhibits excellent telephone etiquette and listening skills
• Displays interpersonal savvy
• Maintains professionalism at all times
• Knows how to diffuse high-tension situations
