KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director to join our International Tax practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Play a key role in providing tax advice to clients, in a range of industries, across KPMG services and offerings; Monitor and efficiently communicate information regarding tax legislative developments including the application of legislative change to specific client profiles
  • Build, manage, direct and monitor multiple client engagements teams while maintaining active communication with clients to manage expectations and help ensure client satisfaction; demonstrate a desire for innovation including actively embracing new technologies
  • Lead, participate in and contribute to market and business development activities including identifying and pursuing new potential client service opportunities in collaboration with others from KPMG's Audit, Tax and Advisory practices
  • Partner with members of firm leadership, including the local office tax leader, to execute on the strategic priorities of the firm and tax practice
  • Teach international tax concepts at internal and external trainings and seminars, tailoring content to the respective audience; contribute to the growth, experience and institutional knowledge of the individuals within KPMG's tax practice
  • Demonstrate KPMG values through interactions with internal teams and within the community; actively participate in events located at our clients, within our communities and in KPMG facilities across the country
Qualifications:
  • Minimum ten years of recent broad experience in international corporate taxation
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university and licensed CPA, JD/LLM or Foreign equivalent combined with Enrolled Agent
  • Previous experience with several of the following common international tax areas: Outbound and Inbound Transactional Structuring, Check the Box Principles, U.S. Tax Treaties, Repatriation Strategies, Intellectual and Intangible Property Planning, Structured Finance, Foreign Tax Credit Planning, Transfer Pricing, Cross-Border Mergers and Acquisitions, Pillar Two and International Tax Reporting
  • Demonstrated track record of business development with the ability to develop and maintain existing internal and external relationships and help build new relationships with key targets
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple projects and teams as well as developing and mentoring others within a collaborative team environment
