As a Physical Therapist serving as a Clinical Education Specialist, you will provide training and clinical guidance to customers and internal teams. You will collaborate with sales and marketing to develop strategies for products and services. As a clinical subject matter expert, you will advise management on relevant product concerns. Additionally, you will collaborate with partners to develop education pathways and lead Clinical Education marketing projects.



Your Impact

    Travel as required to provide training and clinical guidance to customers and internal teams
  • Integrate and coordinate sales and training efforts with internal sales team and other O&P vendors
  • Maintain awareness of educational best practices, trends, and new potential in educational technology, as well as progressive strategies for education within the O&P industry
  • Assists with the process of systematic review and evaluation of the success of the educational programs and overall educational model, including the development and monitoring of outcomes and plans of action for improvement based on the assessment of those outcomes and plans
  • Influence marketing and educational strategies to increase sales, paying specific attention to key sales objectives assigned by management
  • Monitor and assess performance of all programs
  • High level collaboration with key influencers in the O&P Industry
  • Collaboration with MSOP Schools building strong relationships and opportunities to educate and train students
  • Continually develop and deliver educational courses, in coordination with a broader education team. Courses to be delivered in a variety of mediums: live webinars, on demand online, national conferences, universities, or live in-services
  • Ensure that required components of education programs meet the accreditation standards and correspond to the continuing education mission of the organization
  • Other projects as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
  • Licensed Physical Therapist and a combination of experience, and education commensurate with essential duties of the position may also be considered
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

  • Previous Supplier/Manufacture or School Educator experience
  • Strong Collaboration and Leadership skills
  • Use of personal computer, MS Office applications, and general office equipment
  • Proficient analytical, interpersonal, communication, organizational and numerical skills essential
  • Well versed in Powerpoint
  • Excellent organization skills and high attention to detail
  • Knowledge of medical community
  • Knowledge of prosthetic and orthotic products
  • Ability to operate independently in a self-directed manner
  • Ability to sell
  • Ability to maintain customer relations
  • Ability to communicate persuasively both orally and in writing
  • Presentation and educational skills
  • Must be able to travel frequently

Pay range of $80,000-$115,000 + benefits. This pay range is posted to comply with Illinois Law. Hanger salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
