Job Type: Support Staff - Union Bargaining Unit: SSA Regular/Temporary: Regular Hours Per Week: 35 Salary Range: $44,979.76 - $44,979.76 The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The Technician A will provide research support in a top-notch research laboratory. The successful candidate will receive training in biomedical science, interacting with basic scientists and physicians in a multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities Duties include preparing materials for and assisting in experiments and general laboratory maintenance. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to research and who is excited for the opportunity to be heavily involved in performing research, analyzing data, and synthesizing results. Minimum Qualifications Two years of college or a completed A.A. program with an emphasis in chemistry, biology, physics, or related science. One year of related experience, or equivalent in education, training and experience. Must have basic knowledge in chemistry and good general math skills. Ability to work on multiple tasks in a team setting.
