Description
Weston Solutions is hiring an Environmental Technician to support Environmental Services at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM. The Environmental Technician plays an essential role in managing environmental compliance related to hazardous and solid waste at WSMR. The Environmental Technician will join a team of high-performing environmental specialists who serve the mission at WSMR. This is a hands-on position requiring daily onsite field work and is not eligible for telecommuting. WSMR is located in southern New Mexico and encompasses approximately 2.2 million acres. WSMR is 30 miles east of Las Cruces, NM, and 45 miles north of El Paso, Texas. The primary area of performance shall be within the designated boundaries of WSMR. However, performance may be required in the WSMR Northern Call-up area, Western Call-up area, to include WSMR activities off range in southern New Mexico such as National Forest lands and/or Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands, Fort Wingate, NM, Green River, UT, and other off-range sites in New Mexico, Utah and Idaho.
