Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for team development and cross-functional collaboration? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced professional to join our team, responsible for driving quality performance, optimizing costs, and ensuring exceptional service to both internal and external customers. In this role, you will lead a diverse team of union employees with varying levels of experience and education, guiding them through operational initiatives and performance improvements.

As a key leader, you will influence and direct teams across various departments and shifts, fostering strong cross-functional relationships to implement projects and build daily work plans. You will manage workforce planning, approve timecards, and serve as the site coordinator for crisis management. Setting and achieving goals for team members will be essential to support both business and personal development. You will also be responsible for performance management, collaborating with the Operations Manager and Human Resources, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Your role will involve ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety guidelines, teaching and coaching team members on safe work practices, and leading safety programs. You will proactively identify safety issues, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment. Technical expertise is crucial as you guide team members on functional processes, use LEAN practices, and perform Job Safety Analysis to maintain quality standards.

Budget responsibility will be a key aspect of your role, directly impacting budget details, creating budgets for usage and materials, and providing action plans to correct variances. Exhibiting intrapreneurship and ownership behaviors, you will set high expectations, encourage innovation, and hold yourself and others accountable.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of production, operations or logistics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; ORBachelor's degree plus 3 years of military operations and leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; ORHigh School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of production, operations or logistics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; ORHigh School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of military operations and leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Successful completion of the Gallo Operations/Technical Management Program.

  • 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience; demonstrates team building, leadership and mentoring skills.

  • Required to work shifts as scheduled.

  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $83,200 -$124,800/year

  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
