Description MaineHealth, Orthopedics Sports Medicine & Podiatry is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our growing Orthopedic Sports Medicine Practice at Franklin Hospital in Farmington, Maine. This position provides a unique opportunity for candidates to be based full-time, providing patients with orthopedic services in the Farmington community. The successful candidate will provide medical care and practice medicine with physician supervision, including conductingexaminations and writing prescriptions through office-based evaluation and treatment of outpatients.This role will be supporting orthopedics in several locations: Emergency Room, Operating Room, Office and In-patient.The Orthopedic program at Franklin includes state-of-the-art elective and trauma based orthopedic surgery coupled with a robust outpatient orthopedic, sports medicine practice.
