Job Type: Officer of Administration Regular/Temporary: Temporary Hours Per Week: 5 Salary Range: $73.00-$75.00 The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The incumbent will work with the Center for Prolonged Grief within the Columbia School of Social Work as a clinical member of our team, developing and providing training, consultation, and direct treatment as needed for training and research purposes. The incumbent will participate in training health and mental health professionals interested in learning prolonged grief disorder therapy by presenting online workshops and providing consultation to trainees on issues related to the assessment and treatment of prolonged grief disorder. THIS IS A PART-TIME VARIABLE HOURS OFFICER POSITION. THIS POSITION IS PARTIALLY GRANT-FUNDED AND CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT IS BASED ON FUNDING AND PERFORMANCE. Responsibilities Participating in grant meetings, peer supervision, and treatment of bereaved families as part of an AFSP-funded grant. Participate in other research-related activities, involving assessment and treatment of participants with prolonged grief. Present online workshops on prolonged grief disorder and its treatment. Assist in reviewing and continued development programs for clinicians and workshops for the general public. Minimum Qualifications A licensed mental health professional is required. 5 years of related experience with treatment of prolonged grief disorder. Preferred Qualifications At least ten years of clinical experience, five years of clinical research experience and 10 years of experience as a PGT therapist.
