Primary Responsibilities:



  • The Physician lead is a member of the clinic leadership team who provides leadership direction to the POD physicians and staff while working closely with the clinic administrator and Associate Medical Director
  • Responsible for planning, implementation and monitoring process improvements, implementing new pathways, referral guideline and chronic disease programs, and monitoring quantification of outcomes and timelines for the department
  • The Physician Lead will continue to have clinical responsibilities in addition to their administrative role

Required Qualifications:



  • Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license
  • Board certified or Board Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
  • Current and unrestricted DEA certificate



The salary range for this role is $226,000 to $336,000 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
