Security Officer - Armed Clearance

As a Security Officer - Armed Clearance in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in the aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and integrity. You will interact with personnel and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and innovation. Your role is essential in maintaining a secure environment and supporting the overall mission of the site.

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the aerospace and defense facility, including the perimeter and sensitive areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and help to deter unauthorized access or breaches within the location.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Security Officer Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• Active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Texas Security Armed Professional Guard Card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
