Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital
Chicago, Illinois

As a part-time, nonexempt,CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Pay Range: $20-$22 per hour based on experience

Schedule: This position is scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday at our Garfield location and as needed for weekends at our Hartgrove location.

About the Facility: Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital provides acute inpatient and partial hospitalization programs for pediatric children ages 3 to 11 and adolescent children ages 12 to 17. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
  • Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
  • Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity
  • Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
  • HepB3 Series(or declination)
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
  • COVID Vaccine-Full
