How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. The CSD Implementation Specialist is responsible for working closely with customers to consult, install, configure and train IT stakeholders on the installation, configuration and operation of CUES GraniteNet suite of new Web-based products. The role requires an outgoing personality able to deal with people from many types of backgrounds ranging from field data collectors to CISO-level decision makers

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

  1. Collaboration with CUES Cloud DevOps Team:
  • The Implementation Specialist will plan and execute customer implementations by following established SOP templates for the specific solutions.
  • Each implementation or "Advanced Training" is usually competed within 16 hours of time broken up over multiple days or weeks in some cases depending on the pace of the customer.
  1. Work closely with CUES Software Development Team:
    • The Implementation Specialist will perform requirements analysis and validation by translating typical CUES Public Utility and Private sector clients' policies into sound system-level requirements for a robust commercial service offering.
  • Will provide continuous communication, identifies risk areas, and provide estimates as well as track and report progress / issues to involved parties to speed project completion.
  • Additionally, the Implementation Specialist shall contribute innovative ideas to the overall product development process to allow Cues to continually improve and attain market leadership. The WPIS will be a Subject Matter Expert for the implementation and configuration of gNet Web.
  • Help innovate, design, develop, engineer, implement, and maintain the CUES SAAS Private Cloud hosted on AWS.
  • Should have strong knowledge as a technical trainer, including creating implementation best practices, instructional design, measurement and evaluation procedures, training to conduct needs assessment, and troubleshooting for staff and clients.
  1. Customer Support:
  • Ensure all customers complete the required onboarding steps as quickly as possible.
  • The specialist will configure the CUES applications, database solutions and Cloud infrastructure

to achieve a comprehensive GraniteNet SAAS solution in both small and large user environments.

  • Maintain close contact with customers soliciting feedback on their experience with the gNet Web Product suite (Web Synch, Web Office, and Web Inspect) and proactively prevent possible issues that may affect performance.

What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:

Required Experience

  • Possess excellent communication skills to persuasively articulate the technical advantages of relevant security architectures and align stakeholders to make positive buying decisions
  • Demonstrate a track record of maximizing customer operational performance by resolving IT issues
  • 8 Years of experience administering network servers, backup operations, and systems monitoring in multiple and complex server environments
  • Have advanced knowledge of networking within Cloud environments. (Network+ ideal)
  • Administering and implementing various server types that are based on Microsoft technologies
  • Database experience with MS Access, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
  • Knowledge of AWS services to configure, secure and maintain environment

Preferred Experience

  • AWS Solutions Architect certification
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Practitioner Essentials: Core Services

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field

Travel & Working Environment

  • Requires travel by airplane or automobile - 10%

8am - 5pm Monday - Friday
