About the Job

This one-year temporary position is a member of the Catalog & Curriculum Management area primarily focused on backfill for the undergraduate degree audit team (uAchieve) - reviewing curriculum/degree requirements, ensuring the accuracy of degree audits and assisting in maintaining and developing the degree audit system. Knowledge of the University's academic programs, policies, and systems, and understanding of the
complexities of the degree audit, is applied to advance student degree progress initiatives.

This position works with a team of analysts and interacts with collegiate and system campus partners as well as partner units in the Office of Admissions and Office of Undergraduate Education. Academic Support Resources supports hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Work arrangements are determined in coordination with supervisors depending on the nature of the unit and position. The arrangement for this position will be determined upon hire between employee and supervisor

Essential Job Functions

Degree Audit (uAchieve) Maintenance & Support (80%)

  • Triage and address support requests via a shared ticketing system (TDX).
  • Utilize University systems to identify degree requirements and academic policies in order to effectively translate them into an understandable degree roadmap.
  • Develop and utilize test protocols and test cases for uAchieve to ensure quality control.
  • Assist with technical upgrades, ongoing maintenance and the continuous improvement of uAchieve and degree audits.
  • Document, update, and improve policies and procedures involving all aspects of uAchieve.
  • Work closely with collegiate and departmental staff to gather and analyze requirements, while providing feedback on appropriate solutions.
  • Serve on campus uAchieve encoders team in supporting all of the campuses.
  • Maintain major specific information within Transferology.
  • Understand the relationships of curriculum-related systems, including PeopleSoft, Coursedog, TES, and APAS. Work with ASR units to ensure accuracy and consistency of the data within systems.

Transfer Evaluation System (TES) Maintenance & Support (20%)

  • Maintain transfer course equivalencies using uAchieve.
  • Conduct proactive analysis of expiring transfer course equivalencies using TES.
  • Maintain and support transfer guides.
  • Provide backup support for transfer course equivalencies routing as needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with at least two years of professional, relevant experience or a Master's degree.

Preferred Qualifications (Core Competencies)

  • Experience with a student information system (PeopleSoft preferred).
  • Experience with a transfer evaluation and/or degree audit system (TES, Transferology, uAchieve preferred).
  • Experience with a catalog & curriculum management system (Coursedog preferred).
  • Experience with maintaining student records and interpreting policies.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to diagnose technical problems and problem solve.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $68,000.00 - $75,000.00; depending on education/qualifications/experience
