Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Senior Reporting Analyst to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to collect and analyze data to support business results, identify and monitor business and financial trends, collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders and make recommendations for improved business performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for generating reports, analyzing raw data and identifying report discrepancies
  • Prepare accurate and relevant reports that provide insight regarding key points for leadership and clients.
  • Utilize reporting methodology to communicate needs to Data Analysts for report programming
  • Collaborates with various function teams such as marketing, research, operations and IT to achieve business results.
  • Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
  • Monitor data to proactively identify changes in financial and business trends.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of experience OR Master's Degree and 2+ years experience
  • Requires well-developed analytical skills.
  • Requires strong organizational and multitasking skills, and the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel required.
  • Interdisciplinary communication between various departments including operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • General knowledge of business operations, programs, outcomes, system inputs and outputs to support accurate reports to clients.
  • Working knowledge of database back-end systems and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proficiency in AWS services (Redshift, S3) and associated tools for data processing and analytics
  • Proficiency in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
  • Knowledge of New York's data share platforms and procurement systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products including PowerBI and advanced dashboarding capabilities
