JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide software engineering support and DevOps coordination to direct program team working toward a significant upcoming integration event that includes the integration of multiple new components into a single code base
* Comprehensive systems operational procedure manuals based on newly built systems capabilities.
* Write comprehensive test scripts for newly developed system controls.
* Coordinate with the program"s Sr. Software Engineers and the DevOps team to build the DevOps pipeline & ensure that components can integrated and released with high velocity.
* Build out test automation capabilities.
* Interface with the DevSecOps team to ensure full compliance of new systems capabilities built on the program (cyber-security testing, code analysis, etc).
* Coordinate a systems needs analysis and integration activities for the system integration lab.]

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Active Secret Clearance
* Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
* Thorough understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
* Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
* Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming Languages such as C# and Java.
* Experience with software tools for requirements tracking, including the Atlassian suite of tools including Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
* Experience performing code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build
* Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral Proficient with data structures.
