GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for managing the purchasing department which includes, but is not limited to, personnel actions, metrics development and monitoring, cost and quality control and contract negotiations. Reports directly to the Sr. Purchasing Manager of Supply Chain Management. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & TRAINING: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent college level course study in business, procurement or another related field or any equivalent combination of experience and training which results in the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Five years' purchasing experience to include, but not limited to pipe, valves and fittings and high strength steel materials.
