We are seeking a dynamic Product Operations Manager to drive the successful launch and market adoption of our PremierOne, Flex, and CommandCentral CAD/RMS software suites. This role will serve as the key liaison between product management and various internal teams, including Sales, Deployment, Customer Success, and Support, ensuring seamless delivery of our product offerings. The Product Operations Manager will focus on working with go-to-market and operations partners in implementing strategies to boost market adoption and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries regarding our software suites. Communicate product updates, roadmaps, and gather feedback from customer committees and user groups.

  • Manage and support offer definition, including pricing, orderability, and related aspects. Track and report on key metrics, including product adoption, customer satisfaction, and sales performance.

  • Oversee the go-to-market and launch activities for new releases and products, coordinating messaging, training, and documentation. Work with Product Marketing to define and execute product launch campaigns.

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of clear and compelling product messaging and positioning that differentiates our software suites in the market.

  • Provide support for international market expansion, identifying market gaps and developing business cases.

  • Track and measure the success of product launches

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with product launches

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform go-to-market strategies.

  • Conduct market segmentation to develop buyer personas and tailor messaging for different segments.

  • Coordinate with business partners to create and deliver sales tools, training, and collateral that equip the sales team to effectively sell our products.

  • Conduct ongoing analysis of competitors to identify threats and opportunities, and adjust our go-to-market strategy accordingly.

  • Lead internal partner meetings, develop strong relationships, and align go-to-market strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders on training and launch initiatives.

  • Manage and coordinate response to product escalations, working with various stakeholders to ensure timely solutions.

Desired Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field

  • 10+ years of professional experience with at least 5+ years in product management, with a focus on product launches

  • Proven track record of successful product launches

  • Deep understanding of the Pragmatic Marketing Launch principles

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies

  • Experience with public safety software solutions is highly desirable.

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.

Target Base Salary Range: $120,300 - $240,600 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of professional experience with at least 5+ years in product management, with a focus on product launches.

  • Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Ability to travel up to 33%.
