Field Service Office Manager

The Field Service Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the administrative operations of an oil and gas service team. This role ensures efficient office management, customer service coordination, and administrative support to optimize field service operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and experience in a service-based industry.

Key Responsibilities



  • Maintain accurate service records, work orders, digital service tickets (DST), and request tracking (RT) reports.
  • Manage office supplies, invoicing, and purchase orders for equipment procurement.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Assist with customer inquiries and service requests.
  • Support issue resolution by addressing customer complaints and escalating as necessary.
  • Maintain strong communication between office staff, field technicians, and service managers.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees by coordinating and issuing necessary documentation.
  • Provide administrative support for field service managers and sales teams.
  • Assist service managers in ensuring technicians have the necessary equipment, parts, and information for their assignments.


Qualifications & Skills



  • Education: High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years in office management, field service coordination, or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, field service management software, and scheduling tools.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve operational challenges effectively.
  • Organization: Excellent multitasking and time-management abilities.
  • Leadership: Experience in team coordination or supervision is a plus.


Work Environment



  • Office setting with occasional field visits.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and problem-solving.
  • Regular interaction with technicians, customers, and management.
