Overview
DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a team supporting the Personnel Enterprise Decision Support System (PEDSS) for the Army Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G-1. This position is on-site at either The Pentagon or our Reston Corporate Office.
Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee the planning, direction, control, and coordination necessary to operate and maintain the PEDSS.
- Manage cost, schedule, and performance to ensure compliance with contract requirements and Army manpower management processes.
- Supervise contractor personnel, ensuring adherence to the Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
- Provide technical leadership in database management, automated project management, system analysis and design.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for system operations.
- Collaborate with Army stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and transition planning for system modernization.
Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields:
- Computer Science, Operations Research/Systems Analysis, Information Management Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Physics
- Minimum of 8 years experience managing IT projects, including:
- Project cost, schedule, and performance oversight
- Deep understanding of Army manpower management and force development processes
- Experience with database management systems and system analysis & design
Desired
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or management discipline is acceptable if supplemented by an additional two years of experience for each year of graduate education
- Experience coordinating all facets of a major project, including technical documentation development
- Familiarity with Army authorization documentation processes (PMAD, UAD, NOF)
