Job Description
Are you a night owl who loves helping people, knows your way around the city, and doesn't mind a little luggage lifting with a side of friendly conversation? We're looking for an Overnight Bellperson to join our team and deliver top-notch service while the rest of the world sleeps!
Responsibilities
Greet guests with warmth, charm, and the kind of smile that makes their day (even at midnight).
- Know the city like the back of your hand-where to eat, shop, sightsee, and snap the perfect selfie.
- Be a reservation wizard-book dinner tables, limo rides, and help with travel requests like a pro.
- Deliver everything from room service surprises to VIP packages with care and flair.
- Keep public spaces and the bell closet looking sharp, tidy, and guest-ready at all times.
- Handle guest concerns with grace, speed, and a can-do attitude-problem-solving is your superpower.
- Help with those extra touches-flowers, car rentals, luggage shipping, and sightseeing tours-like a concierge ninja.
- Master the art of the bell cart-safely and smoothly, no wild rides here.
- Stay present and ready, especially at the Front Desk-because guests don't stop arriving after 5 PM.
- Point guests in the right direction-or better yet, walk them there with style.
- Call taxis and shuttles with ease and timeliness-like a human transportation app.
- Load, unload, and handle luggage like a champ (with muscles and manners).
- Give the heads-up to Front Desk when VIPs roll in-because red carpet moments matter.
- Chat it up with guests-make them feel like the star of the show.
- Stay sharp by attending all meetings and training sessions-because knowledge is power.
- Tackle any manager-assigned tasks with enthusiasm and hustle.
- Be the ultimate hotel guide-lead guests to their destinations with charm and confidence.
- Keep it classy-clean uniform, professional look, and always protect guest and hotel info.
- Follow safety rules like a pro-report anything risky and stay up to date on training.
Qualifications
What You Bring to the (Bell) Table:
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service-you're all about making people feel welcome.
- Strong communication chops, plus the ability to present, organize, and even train if needed.
- A professional appearance and attitude that shines as bright as your smile.
- Must be fluent in English-and confident speaking it with guests from all walks of life.
Physical Superpowers Required:
- Able to stand, walk (or hustle!) for 8 hours straight-we keep it moving.
- Lift up to 70 lbs like a pro-yes, that suitcase with the wheels counts.
- Brave enough to face the elements-rain, snow, heat, wind-you've got this.
Where You'll Work Your Magic:
- Inside the hotel with cool vibes and cozy corners.
- Outside the hotel, where the weather is part of the adventure.
- Must be flexible-available for early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and especially overnight shifts.
