Position Title: Journeyman Metal Stamping Wage: $23.00 - $25.00/hour Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Journeyman Metal Stamping at a company in Two Rivers, WI. This is a direct hire position. Apply now! Journeyman Metal Stamping Responsibilities: - Set up and operate stamping presses and equipment - Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine production specifications - Perform die changes and setups efficiently and safely - Monitor production to ensure parts meet quality standards and make necessary machine adjustments - Conduct routine maintenance on stamping presses and tooling - Troubleshoot mechanical issues and communicate effectively with maintenance when needed - Maintain accurate production records and reports - Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area - Work closely with quality control, engineering, and other departments to meet production goals Requirements for Journeyman Metal Stamping: - High School Diploma or equivalent - 3-5+ years of experience operating stamping presses in a manufacturing environment - Journeyman certification or equivalent experience - Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills - Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a fast-paced, standing environment - Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices is a plus manitowocresumes@qpsemployment.com IND043 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
