Description * This position will be onsite/hybrid in Des Moines, IA. This position is a print design role and NOT web design. * Will be given email requests from internal business partners and will assist in creating art and editing templates for business cards, ads, mugshots, etc. Daily work will consist of reformatting logos, template art, brand design, and tearing a part work for specific requests. * Must be comfortable editing art through Microsoft Word and InDesign - will also use Photoshop and Illustrator. Will use cross platforms - Mac & PC. * Soft skills - candidates must be able to roll with the punches and take criticism well. Daily Duties: * This role will be designing in Microsoft Word and InDesign. * Prepare graphic artwork to meet customer requests, utilizing appropriate software and hardware. * Create graphics and layouts for publications, presentations, including newsletters, brochures, ads, and similar requests. * Prepare complex artwork and prioritize projects to meet organizational objectives utilizing appropriate software and hardware. * Construct artwork in the most accurate, efficient, and cost-effective manner while meeting deadlines. * Design all print and electronic collateral materials to support the corporate brand, value propositions and effectively communicate to target audiences. * Work with team members to ensure consistency and continuity of recurring projects. * Work within specified budgets and schedules. Provide direction and communicate active status and final results with team members and customers. * Maintain awareness and develop knowledge of current design trends and related technologies, such as interactive multimedia, Internet and desktop publishing software. * Troubleshoot technical and publishing issues. * Provide consultation to customers requesting corporate brand, logo, layout, technical, or systems compatibility assistance. * Analyze customer needs and remain current in software upgrades and new technologies. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
