Research, order consumable parts, monitor warehouse stock levels, update site Supply database and manage bench stock levels. This role will be responsible for communicating daily with off-site logistics support agencies as well as the direct customer. The ideal candidate is an organized, well- spoken and detail-oriented professional able to function in a dynamic, fast-paced and stressful work environment. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Conducts daily Supply technician duties in accordance with Air Force Instructions and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). * Research and orders consumable parts for aircraft (to include MICAP) and equipment using WEBFLIS, IMDS and the site's ordering system (Oracle). Manage all parts and materials ordered. * Ensure necessary management controls over Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Property (GFP). * Verifies the correct parts have been received, signed for, and distributed accordingly. Track and turn-in Due In From Maintenance (DIFM) parts in a timely manner. * Manage, stock and sort parts using First-In First-Out (FIFO) procedures. Inventory and maintain Bench stock levels, shop stock and operating stock. * Manage Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT), ensuring requests are validated, authorized, before using or requisitioning and tracked in the appropriate system. * May be responsible as primary or alternate custodian for the following programs: Land Mobile Radio (LMR), Consolidated Tool Kit (CTK), Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), spare tools, equipment accounts and vehicles as directed by management. * Receives technical guidance from Managers, Supervisors, Expediters, Leads and/or higher-level technicians as required. * May be required to obtain and maintain special certifications as directed by management. * May be required to perform weed removal and general clean-up of facilities assigned to the organization in accordance with the PWS. Requirements may include sweeping, mopping, use of floor cleaning machine etc. * May perform vehicle use inspections, cleaning and wash duties. * Must complete all assignments and other related duties as assigned by Managers, Supervisors, Expediters or Leads Qualifications and Experience: * High School diploma or GED is required. * Minimum of 4 years' experience performing as a USAF or Sister Service supply technician within an aircraft maintenance unit, parts warehouse and/or inventory management role is required. * Must speak, read, write, and understand English. * Must be able to work first, second or third shift to include weekends. * Must deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional and effective manner. * Must be reliable, self-motivated and able to multi-task and deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and non-confrontational attitude. * Must possess a working knowledge of and strict adherence to AFI 21-101 is mandatory. * Must be able to obtain/maintain the security clearance level as mandated by the government customer. * Must possess a current valid U.S. Driver's License. * May be required to obtain, maintain a government driver's license. If controlled movement area (CMA) access is required, individuals must pass a color vision test. * Must be able to obtain/maintain forklift qualifications. * Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data) and basic computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel. * Position requires complying with unique commuting/travel requirements. Working Conditions: Page 2 of 2 * Environment ranges from office to hangar and flight line and requires extensive sitting, climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands. * Must be able to move about both inside aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps within close proximity of running equipment and aircraft. * Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties. Minimum physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. * Must be able and willing to meet OSHA, DCMA or additional industrial requirements including, hearing test, vision test to include color vision, respirator fit test and blood draw etc. to ensure workplace safety standard compliance. * May be subjected to no-notice drug testing surveillance per Company policy or Customer's direction to ensure a drug-free work environment.
