Job Description

As a Cleared Armed Security Officer - DOD Facility in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Officer in the aerospace and defense sector, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires you to be armed and possess a valid driver's license, as driving is an essential part of the job. You will engage with personnel and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time
Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
  • Assist in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and reporting any unusual activities or security-related incidents.
  • Collaborate with team members and other personnel to address security-related concerns and enhance overall protection.
  • Participate in training sessions and briefings to stay updated on procedures and protocols relevant to the location.
  • Help to deter potential threats by maintaining a visible presence and engaging with individuals in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
  • Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
  • An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
