OverviewThe Azure High Performance Computing & Artificial Intelligence (HPC & AI) compute platform team defines and delivers the hardware roadmap, software, and services that enable our users to run technical computing workloads in Azure - extreme scale AI training and inference including large language models, traditional HPC modelling and simulations, remote visualization, and immersive gaming experiences. We are responsible for providing Azure customers with supercomputer-class capabilities to accelerate their research, drive competitive differentiation, and finding answers to some of the most difficult questions of science and industry.We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager who has a proven track record working with complex and distributed engineering systems that are used in operating large-scale cloud solutions. Responsibilities* Drive a virtual team comprised of participants across Microsoft to create engineering systems for operating our hardware fleet and deliver GPU capacity at scale.* Collaborate with teams across Microsoft to manage and deliver multiple cutting edge GPU capacity programs.* Drive agility in responding to evolving business requirements.* Lead the resolution of complex incidents which arise due to requirements outpacing tooling capabilities.* Carry out retrospectives to improve reliability and performance of business processes to operate our hardware fleet.* A self-starter with proven track record of managing complex program/project to successful completion, working across a large set of cross-functional stakeholders.* Willing and able to mentor members of the team and provide support to our Product Management team. | |
