Description

To create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for software products and processes. The Software Technical writer will work closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content. The work will help end-users, developers, and internal teams understand and efficiently use our software solutions.

Requirements

Skills

* 2+ years of experience in technical writing for software or SaaS products.

* Strong understanding of software development concepts, APIs, and version control systems (e.g., Git).

* Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence or RoboHelp.

* Ability to work with engineering teams and interpret technical information.

* Strong command of English grammar, style, and clarity.

* Experience with content management systems (CMS) and knowledge bases.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in an agile environment.

* Experience writing developer-focused documentation is a plus.

* Knowledge of API documentation tools like Swagger, Postman, and such tools is a plus.

* Basic understanding of DevOps, cloud computing, or cybersecurity is a plus.

* Excellent written communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Write, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, online help, FAQs, and knowledge bases.

* Collaborate with developers, engineers, and product managers to gather and clarify technical information,

* Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and accessible content for different audiences, including developers and non-technical users.

* Develop and maintain API documentation.

* Create and update internal documentation for engineering and support teams.

* Organize and structure documentation to improve usability and accessibility.

* Work with UX/UI teams to ensure documentation aligns with product interfaces.

* Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in technical writing.
