Position Title: Coater Machine Operator Wage: $22.50 + $2.00 Shift Differential/Hour Shifts: 3rd Shift Hours: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM Sunday - Thursday Overtime as Required Step into a high-impact role with a growing leader in the labeling and coating industry! We're looking for a mechanically inclined, safety-minded Coater Machine Operator to take charge of setup, operation, and quality control on our high-speed production line. Coater Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Ensure machine operations meet or exceed all safety standards - Read and understand the production documentation for each job and ensure adherence to all work instructions - Ensure all production meets or exceeds company quality standards - Ensure production staging area are kept clean and that appropriate material are prepared for the start of the next shift - Complete all necessary production documentation and data entry in computer system - Operator forklift and or hoist machine for the coating machine - Communicate jobs running (or to be ran) and discuss any issues with next operator upon shift change over - Inform supervisor (or production/plant manager) if there are any problems that need immediate attention - Operator high speeder machine to meet or exceed production standards - Ensure Coater Helper performs all expected job duties - Train and coach Coater Helper to learn machine operation - Perform other coating line duties as needed by supervisor or manager Requirements For Coater Machine Operator: - Self-motivated, detail oriented, organized and mechanically inclined individual - Ability to read, interpret work orders and specifications - Ability to product quality work within company productivity standards - Ability to work independently and/or a team player - Safety Minded QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
