The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary The Department of Neurology at Columbia University is seeking an additional Nurse Practitioner II to join the current NPs in the department's outpatient Stroke clinical practice. The practice serves patients with a variety of cerebrovascular disorders including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, stroke recovery, stroke prevention, moyamoya, cerebral aneurysms, carotid and vertebral artery dissection, stroke in the young, and others. The Nurse Practitioner will work under the supervision of the attending physicians and be expected to ramp up his/her own schedule of patients over the course of the first year. Education and training in general and subspecialty neurological care will be provided as necessary. Responsibilities
