- Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's Level II Trauma and tertiary care center and home to the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.
Responsibilities
- The CV service line outpatient services manager is accountable for managing the operations for the Cardiology, Idaho Vein, and Heat and & Lung medical clinics, Outpatient Nuclear Stress test, ECHO, and EKG departments.
- Instrumental in defining the mission, goals, and performance standards for the clinic and communicating it to staff.
- Utilizes knowledge of organization policies, procedures, and systems to use skills in planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising assigned areas.
- Must work effectively with physicians, staff, patients, the public, and external agencies to standardize, maximize, and improve the operations.
- Must have the ability to take initiative and to exercise professional judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise. Works closely with the Clinic Coordinators and department leads to provide comprehensive departmental compliance, patient satisfaction, and performance improvement plans and goals.
- Will work as the outpatient clinic liaison for outreach to other facilities with a goal of improving concerns, referrals, business needs, and updates on program advancements. Will report directly to the CV Administrative Director and CV Administration.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Three (3) years of experience in the medical field Experience working directly with physicians, staff, patients, and external entities
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree
- One (1) year of managerial experience
