The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with hands-on experience in CRM systems, sales analytics, compliance reporting, and building out Power BI reports. The individual will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing complex datasets to drive insights that support decision-making and strategic initiatives, particularly in the context of sales performance and compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Analytics & Reporting: Develop, implement, and maintain reporting systems to support incentive compensation and sales performance analytics, leveraging CRM input and aligning with compliance standards.
- Compliance Reporting: Understand and interpret compliance requirements related to incentive compensation and sales processes. Ensure data is accurate, complete, and aligned with industry regulations.
- CRM Systems Expertise: Collaborate with internal teams to work with CRM systems, ensuring that data inputs are correctly captured for sales and incentive compensation analytics. Act as a resource for CRM-related queries and troubleshooting.
- Power BI & SQL Development: Design and build custom Power BI reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights into sales performance, patient journeys, referrals, and incentive compensation.
- Data Integration: Leverage Azure and SQL to integrate, clean, and process large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring high data integrity and accuracy across systems.
- Stakeholder Communication & Leadership: Collaborate with leadership and other departments to provide recommendations, share findings, and advise on improvements to sales and incentive compensation processes.
- Process Ownership: Take ownership of data management processes and ensure the alignment of reporting systems with business goals. Lead reconciliation phases at the end of each quarter to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Compliance to drive impactful analytics initiatives, providing support for IC and sales reporting needs.
- Industry Expertise: Utilize a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including the patient journey and sales environment, to accurately measure metrics, track referrals, and align reporting with business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SQL, Azure, and Power BI for data extraction, transformation, and visualization.
- CRM Knowledge: Solid understanding of CRM systems, ideally with experience in sales and incentive compensation analytics within a CRM platform.
- Pharmaceutical Industry Knowledge: Strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, with an understanding of the patient journey, sales processes, and compliance measures.
- Sales Reporting Experience: Experience in measuring and analyzing sales performance, including referrals, incentive compensation plans, and associated metrics.
- Problem-Solving & Process Improvement: Ability to independently own data processes and make recommendations for improvements in sales and compliance analytics.
- Strong Communication & Leadership: Ability to effectively advise leadership, collaborate with internal teams, and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong focus on ensuring data accuracy, with a proven track record of successful reconciliation and reporting processes.
