Retail Closer - Threads of Hope

Catholic Charities Maine Threads of Hope Thrift Store in Sanford has a Part-Time opening for a Retail Closer.

About the Role: The Retail Closer position closes the store and completes end of business duties. Assists in the operation of a retail store that is engaged in selling donated merchandise. Responsible for the effective performance of the Thrift Store; including customer service, donor interaction and appropriate sorting of merchandise. This position will be less than 20 hours per week and will help in the evenings until 7:00PM. Saturday shifts are mandatory.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Knowledge of basic math skills
• Minimum one (1) year previous retail experience (Thrift Store environment a plus) sufficient to indicate an ability to successfully undertake this position.
• Ability to lift, push and pull 100lbs. Bend, reach, and grasp with or without accommodations.
• Must be able to lift and move inventory as needed, and be able to operate rolling racks and other store equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods throughout each workday.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00/hour. Starting salary contingent with qualifications.
