Position Title: Theatre Concessions Merchandising & POS Systems Administrator
Location: Corporate Office, Milwaukee, WI
Reports To: Concessions Manager

Position Overview:
Marcus Theatres is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Theatre Concessions Merchandising & POS Systems Administrator to manage critical operational functions. This role oversees the company's movie merchandise sales line, menu board updates, point-of-sale (POS) system administration, and inventory processes. The successful candidate will enhance the guest experience and drive revenue through efficient merchandising and system management while collaborating with corporate and theatre teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Merchandising & Inventory Management:



  • Source, order, and distribute movie merchandise across Marcus Theatres locations.
  • Collaborate with vendors, marketing, and operations teams to develop a profitable and engaging merchandise lineup.
  • Manage inventory tracking, replenishment, and reporting to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.


Menu Board & POS System Management:



  • Maintain and update digital and static menu boards, ensuring accuracy in pricing, offerings, and promotions.
  • Administer the Aloha POS system, handling updates, menu changes, pricing adjustments, and troubleshooting.
  • Work with IT and operations teams to ensure seamless POS and menu integration.


Operational & Administrative Support:



  • Develop and implement standardized processes for inventory control, system updates, and merchandising strategies.
  • Support theatre managers in maintaining accurate weekly and period-end inventory counts.
  • Analyze sales trends, product performance, and operational efficiencies, delivering actionable reports and insights.
  • Partner with theatre managers and corporate teams to streamline workflows and enhance consistency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Vice President of Food and Beverage or the Concessions Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:



  • Experience: 2+ years in an administrative, retail, merchandising, or POS system-related role (theatre, hospitality, or entertainment industry experience preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with POS systems (Aloha preferred), digital menu board software, and inventory management tools.
  • Organization: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple projects effectively.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for coordinating with teams and vendors.
  • Problem-Solving: Aptitude for resolving POS system issues and inventory discrepancies efficiently.
