Coke Florida is searching for a Commercial Operations Specialist to work out of our Broward Facility.

What You Will Do:

The Commercial Operations Specialist is responsible for assisting in the planning and executing all special events and commercial operations activities on behalf of Coca-Cola Florida, its associates and brands. Using a Tiered-Event approach, this role will interface with events and programs that are typically more complex and require additional (internal and external) resources to activate and execute. Working as a strategic resource to help steward the execution of events across the state, that fit into the Tiering-Event approach, this role will navigate through and manage commercial activation and external resources (i.e., agencies, security, sampling agencies, brand teams, etc.) to bring the event to life, as well as be able to assess the value-add the event brought to the business.

Types of events would include:




  • National Events hosted in Coke Florida territory, i.e. FIFA World Cup
  • Regional Events (Holiday Caravan, Summer Tour)
  • Customer Events and Retailtainment (Daytona 500, Special Olympics, Walmart Retailtainment)
  • Internal Special Events (Year-end Meeting, Leadership Summit, meeting space and hotel nights)
  • Brand Activation and Sampling (owning the sampling process, managing brand partners and sampling)


Roles and Responsibilities:



  • Lead the creation of the annual event strategy, working with key stakeholders to determine the events schedule for the year.
  • Confidentially and professionally present concepts and event updates.
  • Lead pre-event planning meeting and post event debrief, evaluating successes and opportunities to meet objectives.
  • Conduct site-visits, manage, and negotiate work and contracts with outside agencies while engaging internal stakeholders to gain feedback and approval.
  • Accountable for venue management, signage, on-site staffing, and all aspects of delivering in person premium experiences. Assist in booking and management event venues and vendors, including negotiating and managing contracts.
  • Strive to learn and research new innovative concepts and tools to enhance the event experience by traveling to other Coca-Cola Company and bottler led events.



For this role, you will need:



  • 1-3 years of experience in a project management, marketing, retail, event management or equivalent work experience.
  • Basic customer marketing and promotions experience.
  • Microsoft Office experience required
