M1 is looking for a Technical Instructor Course Developer F-15
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Conducts daily Maintenance Training Technical Instructor Course Developer (TICD) duties.
Develops, conducts, and evaluates training to determine adequacy of existing courses and training
programs related to aircraft maintenance, operations, and support functions. Prepare instructional
programs in accordance with required training or other course requirements, assembling materials
and developing lesson plans as required. Instructs Ancillary, Maintenance Qualification Training
(MQT) and Special Qualification Training (SQT). Instructs all courses in accordance with
approved curriculum, maintains proficiency in instructional techniques. Administers stand alone
and end of course examinations in approved MIS system, prepares and administers remedial
instruction. Administers course critiques, process class materials and documents. Develops and
implements curriculum updates utilizing the Instructional System Design process. Develops and
maintains professional classroom techniques. Accomplishes teaching, scheduling, documenting,
and monitoring training requirements for company and customer personnel using applicable MIS
system (IMDS) and provided course curriculum. Receives technical guidance from managers,
supervisors, or leads as required. May be required to obtain and maintain special certifications as
directed by management. Reviews and completes forms documentation pertinent to aircraft or
equipment maintenance, enters maintenance actions into applicable MIS system and will make
entries in forms, logs, records, or electronic equivalent as required. Complete all assignments and
tasks as directed by managers, supervisors, leads, and more senior technicians.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 6 years performing as F-15 APG, AVI or Engine maintenance functions and 3 years
as an aircraft maintenance instructor. Must have possessed a 'T' prefix as tech school or FTD
instructor or have completed the ACC Classroom Instructor Course or equivalent. Must have
completed an Air Force Instructional Systems Development formal training course or served in an
Instructional Systems Development position or capacity. Must have been previously engine run
qualified on any USAF fighter aircraft. Working knowledge of MIS systems, forms
documentation and strict adherence to aircraft technical data is required.
Working Conditions:
High school diploma or GED is required. Mathematics skills are desirable
Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and
special operating instructions in the same language.
Must be willing to deploy to support off-station requirements.
Performs housekeeping duties within 100 feet of assigned work areas (excluding bathrooms).
Performs vehicle use inspections, cleaning, and wash.
Performs any other supportive duties as assigned.
Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher, if required).
Must be able to, if required, obtain, and maintain a government driver's license. If controlled
movement area (CMA) access is required must be able to pass color vision test.
Environment ranges from office, hangar and flightline and requires extensive climbing, standing,
stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
May be required to work in other work sections throughout the contract.
