Your Role

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Senior Leaders to understand strategic objectives, formulate project scope, and drive decision-making.
  • Primary point of contact for troubleshooting and/or questions related to a project. Communicate program activities and updates across all functions.
  • Lead and continuously improve the process for managing OPEX projects from identification to prioritization and selection to completion.
  • Ensure current CPC policies and practices are followed, resulting in robust documentation creation and archival.
  • Effectively facilitate project teams, ensuring good cross-functional communication.
  • Provide input to functional managers on team member performance.
  • Create high-level plans, communications, and schedules on larger projects requiring prioritization and workload adjustments.
  • Establish and maintain a visual project management tool to provide status updates.
  • Assess business risks and prioritize tasks among multiple projects. Coordinate tasks through bottle neck areas, such as Test Lab or external suppliers.
  • Work with project teams to develop project budgets, resource allocations, and timelines.
  • Communicate with personnel in various CPC locations and all management levels.
  • Liaison between teams and CPC leadership; lead phase and business reviews, project meeting minutes, issues log, metrics, and other key communications.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience with a track record of leading successful projects from conception to implementation to integration.
  • Prior experience utilizing project management tools to manage projects, budgets, and deadlines (e.g. MS Project, Planisware Orchestra, Risk Register, Resource & Budget Planning and Control, visual management, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and influencing skills, including presentation to internal executive team and customers.
  • Strong organization and facilitation skills.
  • Cross-functional leadership skills, coupled with the ability to drive results and influence others.
  • Able to adapt to constantly changing work assignments and fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience with applying lean manufacturing principles, and efficiency methods.
  • Ability to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Creo, Oracle, SharePoint.
  • This role may require up to 10%
  • Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.

    • This range is the pay scale for this role in Minnesota. Individual compensation is based on skills, experience, and qualifications related to this position.
