Summary

Client Service Specialist

The Client Services Specialist supports internal and external clients by delivering timely communication and reports to ensure smooth project execution. This role leverages company best practices to manage project tasks and ensure that deliverables are completed on time. The Specialist also assists in developing various deliverables, including presentations, training instructions, spreadsheets, and fulfillment requests.

The Company services a variety of trade channels including grocery, mass merchandise, specialty, convenience, drug, dollar, club, hardware, consumer electronics, and home centers. We bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    Communicate and interact effectively with internal team members in all departments and/or clients to deliver timely information and reports
  • Follow SOPs/Best Practices to perform project management duties for program execution to ensure deliverables are consistently completed on time
  • Assist with the development of program presentations, event instructions, spreadsheets, data entry, reporting and fulfillment requests
  • Complete research projects as need to support senior team members
  • Support senior team members with facilitation of deliverables, detail tracking, and timely updates

Supervisory Responsibilities

Direct Reports
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports

Indirect Reports
- This position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reports

Travel and/or Driving Requirements

- Travel and Driving are not essential duties or functions of this job

Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: (Required) Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience: 1-3 years in CPG industry, sales and marketing agency, Customer, or Client experience

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

- Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
- Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Office / Sedentary Requirements
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
