How You'll Perform the Role

Maintenance Manager has overall responsibility for the maintenance department. Is responsible for skilled electrical and mechanical work including installation, maintenance and repair work on electrical systems, control and machinery used in the facility and production.



  • Work Safely and follow all company policies, ensuring that the maintenance team follows and prioritizes safe work practices.
  • Embrace, participate and follow a culture of food safety. Ensures that all equipment and processes meet or exceed respective Bremen Quality/SQF requirements for preventative, planned and unplanned maintenance.
  • Embrace, participate and follow a culture of food safety.
  • Active member of the Safety Leadership, Food Safety and HACCP teams.
  • Manages and maintains ongoing preventive maintenance programs to ensure the program meets Bremen Quality/SQF requirements for food safe and high-quality product. Maintains effectiveness of all HACCP Plan CCPs for production equipment.
  • Oversees upkeep of plant facility to include air compressors, fire protection systems, etc. to maintain in optimal working condition.
  • Keeps all equipment running and in good condition.
  • Oversees effective work order program and setting the priority of work order
  • Supervises and implements plant projects for expansion and optimization, including cost proposals and management of CAPEX projects.
  • Work closely with Production to ensure production equipment uptime and optimization.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, securing all required per Understands regulatory codes and standards.
  • Maintains inventory levels of maintenance spare parts and supplies.
  • Trains all technical support to provide consistent operational guidelines on all shifts.
  • Work effectively with other senior management, internal and external customer
  • Must have advanced knowledge of effective safety standards, practices and techniques pertaining to general maintenance and construction work.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.


What We Need From You

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required
  • B.S. degree in an engineering field preferred, and/or equivalent of four years of related experience.
  • Excellent electrical/mechanical understanding and troubleshooting sk
  • Knowledge of PLCs and Servo drives.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical engineering designs, the ability to read and interpret and understand electronic, electrical and mechanical schematic
  • Excellent organizational, managerial and communication sk
  • Leadership skills and the ability to speak effectively with coworkers or groups of coworkers, supervisors or others within the company.
  • Knowledge of production equipment used in the fac
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn and utilize other applications needed for the role.
  • Understanding of HACCP and food safety, including GFSI schemes (SQF, BPICS, IFS, etc.)
