Associate Project Manager

Almac Group is currently seeking an Associate Project Manager (Clinical Technologies) for our Lansdale, PA location. The Associate Project Manager's primary function is to work alongside the Project Manager in the planning and execution of a client's project. The Associate Project Manager will execute tasks that drive the internal Almac team to the successful and on time delivery of quality products and services related to IXRS projects during pre and post live phases.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Planning and Managing: Establishes and coordinates the completion and closeout of identified deliverables throughout the lifecycle of a project, using Almac's established processes and procedures (SDLC). Effectively interfaces and coordinates with Project Manager, project team members and stakeholders. Identifies and manages assigned project tasks, dependencies and critical path items per project plan/schedule. Develops and drives project schedule to ensure timelines are met with input from the project team.
  • Project Scope: Assists in initiating and managing conversations about scope during requirements gathering and maintenance. Helps to identify any trends in project support which are out of scope. Manages Change Control process and raises CCFs as applicable.
  • Project Control: Helps monitor projects on a regular basis, evaluating progress and quality, and managing issue resolution process to ensure corrective actions are taken in a timely fashion.
  • Problem Resolution: Partners with Project Manager to ensure project support teams resolve issues arising during the maintenance phase of an IXRS project in a timely manner. Collaborates with System Management during maintenance phase to understand and resolve any issues causing unexpected maintenance requests or technical support inquiries.
  • Risk: Responsible for assisting and identifying, mitigating and managing risk via documented plan.



Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:


  • Associate's degree with two (2) years of industry related experience or Bachelor's degree
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint


Preferred Experience / Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related degree
  • 1+ years within the clinical technology, life sciences or software industries with direct Project Management responsibilities
  • 1+ year in a client facing role
  • 1+ year managing multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
  • Project Management tools and Processes, e.g. Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), SharePoint, CA PPM platform, etc.
  • Knowledge of clinical trials and the pharmaceutical industry
  • Understanding of how IXRS is used in Clinical Trials
