What You'll Do
  • Strong scheduling, planning, organizing, problem solving, time managing, and prioritizing work skills
  • Plan, direct and coordinate activities of Supplier Performance Team and assist team as needed. Oversee staff training & development.
  • Excellent customer service including follow through, Time management, Planning/organization and prioritizing
  • Drive continuous improvement; employee productivity, uptime improvements, lead time reductions
  • Facilitate the compensation planning, performance assessment and employee development planning processes
  • Procure supplies and spare parts to ensure effective and timely maintenance of equipment
  • Leads meetings with team members discussing variety of topics
  • Displays a positive, can-do attitude; maintains composure when faced with difficult situations
  • Provides guidance and direction to staff including hiring, disciplinary action, staff development, goal formulation and performance review
  • Process Management - Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and other forms of data analytics to meet or exceed departmental goals, objectives, & forecasting models.
  • Anticipates maintenance expenditures and provides estimates to forecast and meet budgetary requirements
  • Develop and lead a Safety Culture that is consistent with CMC standards
  • Assist in developing short-term and long-term production goals and capital requirements necessary to facilitate these objectives
  • Establish strategies to efficiently and cost effectively maintain or increase production in conjunction with management and division priorities
  • Delegate and supervise multiple employees and contractors to accomplish business needs as well as hands-on involvement when the need arises
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and provide coaching, skills development, guidance and support to team members
What You'll Need
  • Minimum 10 years of related facility and heavy equipment maintenance experience
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Thorough understanding of maintenance principles, technologies, machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematics
  • Strong computer skills required (good knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work with the other Managers as a part of the Management Team
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be available as needed by the business
  • CMMS experience - SAP a plus
  • Able to estimate labor hours, materials and can visualize the job to be performed
  • Strong communication Skills (verbal, written, listening) including ability to communicate effectively with all levels or organization
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work ethic, attention to details and find root causes for issues
  • Experience with Preventative/Planned Maintenance processes and procedures and ability to develop procedures and schedules preferred
  • Ability to stand for duration of shift; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shift
Your Education
  • Minimum 5 years maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
