Start Date ASAP Contract Home Office - Denton, TX Salary Range DOE Posting Date 04/07/2025 Union No FLSA Status Non-Exempt Shift Work No FT/PT Full-time Relocation No Travel Possible Job Summary: A key member of the program finance team, under the direction of the Sr. Director of Finance, the Program Financial Analyst I operates as a member of a highly collaborative, cross-functional team playing a key role in the financial execution of Multiple programs by ensuring accurate and timely accounting practices and FP&A reporting. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Support the management and reporting of multiple program performances to ensure adherence to: * Contractual obligations * Quality standards * Schedule requirements * Financial objectives Provide business analysis and interpret program financial performance by: * Offering recommendations to Program Teams * Driving successful contract execution Support the Sr. Director of Finance in: * Developing Estimates at Completion (EACs) for assigned programs * Coordinating with Program Managers to ensure appropriate staffing and resource levels * Developing contract annual operating plans and performance forecasts Prepare monthly reports, including: * Performance variance analysis * Unbilled reporting * Financial, cost, and budget reports to support month-end close requirements Monitor and ensure: * Reimbursable travel costs remain within project estimates and are recoverable * Internal financial control services, including funding oversight and accurate cost allocation Drive the creation, submittal, and tracking of the program(s) invoicing to ensure timely and accurate billing in the accounting system. Submit timely contract billings in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) in compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements Participate in Program Management Reviews (PMRs) by: Preparing and presenting financial reports Perform other related duties as assigned Page 2 of 2 Qualifications and Experience: Education & Experience: * Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience) * Experience with DoD and other government service contracts/subcontracts preferred Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (medium to advanced level) * Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, preferably JAMIS Prime ERP Knowledge & Expertise: * Contract management and procurement practices * Cost accounting and financial management * Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) Soft Skills: * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Additional Requirements: * Ability to travel as required * Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and/or base access as required. Working Conditions: * Work is primarily performed in an office environment with occasional visits to operational sites as needed. * May require extended periods of sitting and computer use. * Some travel may be required to customer locations and/or program sites. * Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
