Overview

LMI is seeking a Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) budgetary familiar with Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES), POM, Congressional Budget Justification Book (CBJB), Government financial management best practices, and program control. This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

    Assist and advise PIO leadership on execution, performance, forecasting of all aspects of financial management.
  • Track expenditures, initiate MIPRs, forecast executions, and associated FM duties as directed by the COR or TPOC.
  • Assist and support PIO for movement of funding, funds execution, and financial reporting as directed by the COR or TPOC. The contractor shall assist and advise PIO in meetings and participate in pertinent conferences and forums in addition to specific PIO projects.
  • Manage, prepare, and maintain work breakdown structures, forecasting costs, tracking costs and financial reporting, familiarity of Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES), program control, preparation of inputs to subsequent statements of work, development and maintenance of detailed schedules, verification integration, financial planning and reporting, tracking of project progress against requirements of the statement of work, scheduling, and preparation of monthly progress and financial reports.
  • Ensure that milestones and deliverables are accomplished on schedule, coordinate training and transition efforts, and ensure technical support through transition.
  • Prepare and conduct quarterly program management reviews and support other management briefings as required.


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Possess relevant experience in RDT&E activities in support of both DoD and IC programs
  • Extensive experience with the military, understanding rank, seniority, and protocol to communicate with senior leadership in both the DoD and IC communities
  • Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)
  • Possess DoD Level 3 Financial Manager certifications
  • Relevant military experience and have 5 years prior experience working for SAF/FM.
  • Experience developing cost profiles and estimates for new projects, assessing and controlling on-going projects, and minimum 20+ years' experience complying with all Federal laws and regulations

Target salary range: $132,000 - $170,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
