DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this supervisory role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, employees, visitors, contractors, property and assets. Utilizing your keen observation skills and strong attention to detail to monitor activities within the complex, identify potential security threats, and respond swiftly to incidents as they arise is essential. Following the bureaus safety and security policies and procedures, manage difficult situations and make quick effective decisions will be crucial to your success in this role. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Friday - Tuesday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Security Officer 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Any equivalent combination of experience or training which provides the knowledges, skills, and abilities required to provide supervisory security services.

- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
